I've worked with the band Cardinal Black on a few projects. the first was a music video for the song Rise Up which you can see below. It was also the 2nd time I had worked with Alex Fielding who supplies vintage cars for filmset and restores them. the music video was all pre-planed and story boarded but Chris (guitarist) came up with the idea on set that it might look cool is he exits a moving car just in time to start the guitar solo. The majority of the comments on the video are in praise off this moment.

we also filmed an interesting session video for Cardinal Black too. the song was recorded by one mic in the middle all in one take. watch the video to fully understand. As the performance was all about them truly showing off what they can do, we wanted a less polished, human feel to the video. as opposed to the music video, mistakes such as accidentally getting the other cameraman in shot only added to the ethos of this real performance.
